PRIVACY POLICY

Triyang collects minimal, non-identifying gameplay data including scores, game mode, device type, and referral source. No user account or email address is required to play. Leaderboard names are provided voluntarily and are not connected to any real-world identity. The Daily Challenge assigns each player an anonymous random identifier (UUID) stored in a cookie; this identifier has no link to any real-world identity and is used solely to enforce the one-attempt- per-day rule and track daily streaks.
When you visit the Daily Challenge, we set a single first-party cookie named triyang:player_id. It contains a randomly generated UUID that has no connection to your identity. It is used to remember your result across sessions, enforce the one-attempt-per-day rule, and compute your daily streak. The cookie is marked HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax, and expires after one year.
We use browser local storage to save your display name (used on leaderboards) so you do not have to re-enter it each session. This data never leaves your device except when you voluntarily submit a score.
We use Google Analytics (with Consent Mode v2) to monitor gameplay patterns such as page views, session duration, and general location (country level). This helps us understand how the game is used and how to improve it. Analytics cookies are only set after you give explicit consent via the banner. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension.

CURRENT_PREFERENCE: …
Game performance data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. For multiplayer and Daily Challenge scores, this includes your chosen display name, an anonymous player identifier (UUID), gameplay statistics (scores, round results, duration), and a timestamp. The display name is the only user-provided field; it is not verified and need not reflect your real name. No email address, IP address, or other personally identifiable information is stored server-side.
Triyang is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect any identifying information from users under the age of 13.
